I know Ennio Morricone was a God level composer but had no idea this was his (or that it got to no.2 in the singles Charts)

Remember it (just) from the opening credits to the Beeb's series about the life of Lloyd George from around 1980.

What an absolute banger!

Mrs Z has this on a single.

Unfortunately it doesn't play very well, - the speed may have drifted a bit but other records play fine.

It is a superb piece.

I didn’t know it was his composition.

His soundtrack for OUATITW is epic, almost like an opera....and still my favourite all time film.
So glad that Clint Eastwood turned down the role of Harmonica.

Nice compilation - have had it on in the background as I do paperwork this morning.

Most influential Italian of the 20th (and 21st so far) Century? :-)

I popped up on Popmaster in May. The T-shirt is nice, they offer them in different sizes now too.
