Dental water flossers - bathtub tom
Spent an uncomfortable time in the dentist chair today, having plaque removed from under my gums. Recommended to use a dental water flosser.

Anyone use one that can recommend a model please? Looking online, you can spend a fortune, or just a few quid.

I was given one as a Xmas present. I did not like it and went back to the "old ways".
Lots to choose from in the shops - some better than others but it's a matter of trial & error to find ones you like.

Loads of cheap ones on AliExpress www.aliexpress.com/w/wholesale-water-flosser.html?spm=a2g0o.home.search.0

The prices you see are excl VAT which is charged on checkout

Many items are free delivery if you spend over £8 (net of VAT) on the whole basket. £8 delivery stuff usually arrives in a week. Won't always be best quality but often does the same as an expensive "UK" brand. I have their £3 electric toothbrushes which work fine.

I have the Philips Sonicare Cordless Power Flosser for quite a few years now and it is very effective. It shoots a powerful jet of water between your teeth and is far superior to dental floss.
Most other flossers just cause water to flow in your mouth and don't really help to clean them.

You can buy this from EBay which is cheaoer than on Amazon,as I did.

Dental water flossers - John Boy
Several years ago my dentist suggested I should use one. I bought one in LIDL which was useless, so I returned it for a refund. At same time John Lewis had a large range. The reviews for most of them were poor and the returns so frequent that it was hard to believe they could make a profit for JL. Currently they only sell one - the Philips Sonicare HX3826 Cordless for £120.
