For my road trip later this year its about time I bought a plug in cool box.
Could be used in overnight rooms, a cool drink en route at a picnic site, or even a ‘pop up bar’ …we often start/ finish walks out in the sticks, miles from a village bar…nice to sit around chatting with a cold drink and nibbles after a hot walk with a group of friends.

Plenty of reviews online…friends of mine have a 20litre Alpicool, but personal recommendations always welcome.

Avoid Halfords. We've had two where the fan failed on the chiller unit in under a year.

Got one from Amazon branded Asaklitt which has been good so far - 2 years +. We've also a collapsible on bought in France which lives in the caravan and is good for shopping trips.

Only issue at night, with any of them, is that the fan on the cooler is noisy.
