I know a 70 year old gent who is addressed Dr. N.A. John Doe. (Made up name)
I would like to know what the N.A. stands for.
If it has any relevance his doctorate is in Philosophy and he is Canadian.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Zippy, is it possible that you could ask this chap?
They may be a couple of first names that he prefers not to use.

Unless it means “Never Ask”.

Oh if things were that easy. I posted the first message on my phone and didn't notice a typo:
Should be "knew", not "know" as the person has recently passed away, unless I get a special connection I won't be able to ask.

....it's definitely "Not Alive", then....
