Remember seeing him, at the time of peak publicity for those dealings, having publicity photos taken around Lincoln's Inn Fields. He was wearing the most hideous Burgundy coloured suit I've ever seen.

Met him a few times, at a dodgy club I used to frequent, without doubt a real character, highly amusing extremely affable. A part of that 70's string of football characters that made the scene so amusing. A sad loss

A friend’s father, not a household name, played with Terry in his early football career. Many years later, on the eve of a big game in the Euros when he managed England, she dropped Terry a fax re her father’s significant birthday.
A clearly personal response followed a few hours later. A nice touch from a busy man.
