Looking to replace the aging (1980s) velux windows in my dads loft conversion.
Got prices from Velux but have been advised to shop around as large variance in prices from other suppliers.
Anyone any recent experience of this sector?

From my experience surveying houses, you get what you pay for. Yes Velux are not the cheapest but they are well engineered and last well.

Cheers.
Most seem to be much of a muchness but found ones from a company called Fakro that seem to have same spec, same u values etc but much cheaper.
Contractor guy is looking into them, if you pardon the pun.
