 Hybrid Reading - R.P.
Just finished a most excellent book, highly recommended as it the twists and turns around the events which nearly brought eveyrthing we know to an end. Max Hastings' book on the Cuban Missile Crisis, "Abyss". Not a fan of Hastings' views on some things, but you can't beat him as a readable historian.

I had the book given to me on my last birthday, a hefty tome by any standard (too heavy to drag around the house to find random reading spots or on my recent bike trip to the Lakes) - I downloaded the book onto Audible. I think I listened to 75% of it as opposed to reading it. Certainly I am more focussed to listen than reading. Really enjoyable well worth a listen/read really good.
