Just heard the news.
UK scientists have discovered that air pollution can cause cancer.
Talk about stating the bl****** ng obvious.

Not sure why it’s obvious but that’s not the point. There’s a world of difference between thinking something is a fact and proving it scientifically.

To the uninformed observer it’s blindingly obvious that the sun rotates about the earth.

Maltrap does not give a source for this report. Google however suggests it's a more specific link between air pollution and lung cancer:

Yes, and they’re working on a drug to stop air pollution from triggering previously damaged cells from becoming cancerous. Already works in lab mice, apparently. A great development in the fight against cancer
