You might have seen the news that a Google engineer has been sacked, allegedly for claiming that Google has some AI technology he believes to be sentient. An extraordinary claim. Here is an "interview" with the computer. I think it's a bit disturbing, but is it just a jolly good chatbot? I suppose so... But what's next?
