Seems the latest plan is both under ambitious and over ambitious to my mind. There's no massive changes yet the plans that are listed seem to be lacking in real money to achieve those targets.
Labour's response seemed equally underwhelming, they mumbled something about broadband and buses.
I wonder when anyone in any party is going to take this on seriously. I've seen mention of amounts compared to German unification*. I don't think it's a budget on that scale, but it will be a large sum. However what cost of not doing it? We may well end up with more political shocks like the red wall falling, brexit, what cost of more of those events?
