Emma's US Open final match - Stuartli

Amazon has made the generous gesture of allowing Channel 4 to match its Prime coverage of Emma Raducanu's US Open women's singles final at 9pm tonight.

I'm sure that most will be well aware of the teenager's remarkable achievements during the past three weeks, starting at the qualifying stages, so won't elaborate on them.

Just wish her all the best and rooting for her to lift the title!

1) Sigh, "tax payers"? Why does outrage always take the form of concern about money paid by the "tax payers"? Tedious. At least say State Funded if that is what you mean.

2) Channel 4 is commercially funded, absolutely f.all to do with the poor bewildered tax payer.

In fact you will find that Channel 4 contributes considerably to the State, or pocket of the "tax payer" if you prefer.

And as I understand it, the value nonsense is according to the Twitter whiners that read the Express, not the Express itself.
