Ed Asner died today.

Funnily enough last night I was watching an episode of "Mad About You" in which he featured and was thinking about how long he'd been around. I've seen him in loads of stuff over the years and pretty much always enjoyed his work.

Though at least he marginally began his acting career before I was born.

I wondered what had happened to him, I remember watching Lou Grant too. A bit tame by today's standards, but enjoyable at the time.
