Saw him a few times doing stand-up before 8 out of 10 cats. I found him really funny but SWMBO didn't. RIP.


I've mostly given up on 8 out of 10 cats though, they are dragging it out too much at the start.

This news proves very difficult to take in, especially as I watch the Countdown version regularly.

A very funny and likeable man who will be very much missed.

Nope, just never been a fan of anything he's been in or done.

btw Mark, the last time I watched Corry Street, Hilda & Stan were in it. Basically when I was a kid and there was only one TV in the house, so had little choice but to watch what the parents were watching.
