Adverts on this Site (Again) - Bromptonaut
For days now I've been fed an ad for Joe Joe featuring a pretty young woman in a peppermint colour bra-let.

Anybody else stuck on the same page?

No, but if you wouldn't mind posting a link...

;-)

No, just loads of adverts for iso container homes.

The adverts you get reflect the sites you've visited.

You old rogue, Brompt.

Well now I've only got JoJoe in one window. The others are are Radio World and Flo Gas which do reflect sites I've visited.

True, but much as the obvious answer is that Bromp is trawling female underwear sites, it's probably also worth pointing out that JoJoe is clothing made from recycled materials so it may be Bromp's viewing of recycling sites which has attracted the adverts, rather than any other [cough] interests.

I'm getting Gtech; probably a result of Mrs CS looking at vacuum cleaners this morning.

Are you that interesting that she is lusting after vacuum cleaners?

He'll likely be getting Welsh ones. You know, sheep and seaweed ads etc. Lava bread deals and so on. Pointy hats and the like.

Oh you're quite correct, I hadn't noticed, they're in Spanish.

But now I'm getting an "Oceania Cruises" advert in English.

I cannot think of anything that I have looked at or done in the last 18m which could cause any link to a cruise or car rental.

I don't get ads.

If I keep refreshing this page I get a lot of foreign crap that I have never visited. Seems to be property developer stuff at a guess.

And some gaming thing keeps popping up. Gaming? Me? The last time I ever played anything like that it was 1982 when I got Atari for Christmas.

You never played Duke Nukem????
Adverts on this Site (Again) - BiggerBadderDave
I got PacMan, but it took 12 months of saving from my paper round before I could buy the cartridge.

I guess there's an element of 'If you liked that you might like this'.

I regularly check Rohan's site for sale deals - long time since I paid full price for their stuff.

Rohan doing women's underwear now?

Or perhaps there's a link between wearing rohans and wearing womens underwear?

Brighton and Hove Albion executive box and club.

What on earth makes google think I am remotely interested in some penny anty t***ish club on the south coast.

Radisson Rewards Club and "Rustic ceramic tiles for my floors".

How to iron out crepe skin!

WTF?

I was just looking at these posts when up popped an advert for a "urinary collection device". It looks as if this is some sort of funnel device that fits around the todger, leading to a tube and a bag strapped to the thigh. Not for me, but if anybody would like the details i will happily pass them on.

It's now changed to an advert for a Rolls Royce SUV. Apparently uncompromised craftsmanship is within my reach. Nice to know.

Rather boringly I am being offered DIY stuff at the lowest prices one can find.

I'm getting engine oil.

We appear to be the only two here getting proper "Manly" stuff.

Quite obviously the correct interpretation. Well done.

As a break from the usual diy/cars etc this mornings was forest walks.

While that's right up my street the site concerned was US centred.
