 Americans and masks - Crankcase
I was just watching the live feed from New Orleans (you can see it here if you care to)

They really don't do masks or social distancing, do they. Why are they so anti?

They are Americans,

This is a country with groups like "God and Guns" and people called "preppers"

Many Murry Cans believe that they are all Shane, Wayne, Bruce or Clint. Mostly based on History according to Hollywood, I think.

They don't really do a lot of litter picking either?

They pay $$$$ to lock up their crims to make numberplates, rather than community payback I guess.

New Orleans is a place with a fantastic vibe though, the live music bars and street bands are second to none, i you like that kind of music.

Anyone been to the Preservation Hall there? Absolutely amazing experience which I hope to be able to repeat sometime. www.preservationhall.com/

I was going to go for Mardi Gras one year but tbh the thought of the size of the crowds put me off. We were lucky enough to be there for the Krewe of Boo Halloween parade, which was spectacular. www.kreweofboo.com/

Yes , been to Preservation Hall in 2005 just before Katrina.Bit of a tourist trap.

Loads of good clubs and restaurants I could recommend in the French Quarter.

I love Traditional Jazz but you do not have to go to a club to hear it.

This band Tuba Skinny plays on the streets and is just great, Shaye Cohn on cornet is amazing.
