No No No No No No No No Dead - zippy
Trevor Peacock has passed away at 89. He was probably best know for playing Jim Trott in the Vicar of Dibley.

Silly humour, but made me chuckle.

RIP

The skill and timing required to do scenes like this is immense

Saw him in a few older programmes over the lockdown including an 80s episode of the The Bill. A very good man at his craft. VoD brought my Dutch friend a lot of pleasure, which is what TV should be about.

I remember when a VoD DVD box set came out in the US but not over here, and I was imminently visiting the US, I had it delivered to my mate's brother in Orlando.

I told them they should watch it, which they did (and said they enjoyed it). However I was surprised they didn't know what a vicar was until they watched it -even though I know they don't use the term. I suppose there are probably still American terms I don't know.

It's very sad that only three of the main cast members survive.

I always feel happy after watching an episode.

Saw him, many years ago, at the Royal Exchange, Manchester in "Harvey" - about a man with an imaginary, man sized rabbit as a friend.

Wonderful at acting to an empty space.

Liked him ever since.
