 Car4play unavailable - No FM2R
For the last couple of days I have been finding this site sporadically unreachable.

Whether I am using my own broadband or Mobile data.

Anybody else?

Yes, but only if typing in the URL directly.

Use Google and it's fine.

I was thinking a dodgy domain name server somewhere.

I've had it too when refreshing/updating.

The Windows 'Tumble Dryer' rotates for 15-20 seconds followed by the standard message to check connections etc.

Only on Chrome, not tried another browser.

I've had it too. Most recently when viewing a topic threaded there was a time-out when I clicked one post off and tried to go to the next. Using Firefox.

Yup.
The main page loads and refreshes ok but the 'Latest Forum Posts' sidebar takes about 15 seconds to show any sign of life. For some reason it's waiting for adservice.google.com to respond. Probably witchcraft.

There does seem to have been intermittent DNS slow downs in the UK the last week or so.

I've had no problem with BBC, ITV, C4 or the BBC website. But that's pretty much all that I use in the UK regularly.

I hit reply to say that I hadn't seen a problem and immediately got a problem - showed "connecting" then timed out. OK again about a minute later.

I'll set up a ping to see if that shows problem - it ought to.
