.. it is amazing how whatever the subject there's always someone in the group with in depth knowledge of it.

When you consider the Car4play breadth, depth and quality of knowledge against the size of contributing group it does rather put the rest of the internet to shame.

Zippy's jokes are still crap though.

By the way the original one should really have
Whose bite weren't as bad as his bark - not wasn't - to be said in a Yorkshire accent - I know the grammar is wrong but then it scans properly.

You could just change "wasn't" to "was", that would do it. And it would be slightly funnier.
