Nicholas Parsons dies at 96.
Super chair on R4's "Just a minute" since before I was born.
|
I remember him as a straight man to Arthur Haynes.
He was also an avid clock collector.
|
Died following a short illness. He only had it for just a minute.
RIP.

>>
...I think it was a repetition of an earlier bout.....
|
Selling off his estate will be the Sale of The Century.
|
Never liked him. He was at a small company event once, absolutely arrogant pita.
|
"Never liked him.'
I always thought he was something of a smarmy git; he was related to an old girlfriend, but I can't say that I regretted not meeting him.
|
>> Never liked him.
Never met him but didn't like his programme. Just had Matthew Parris and a n other J-a-M regular telling all and sundry listening to PM how wonderful Parsons was. Put R5 on instead but that was playing a tribute too.

He struck me as anything but that.

Simon Cowell's first ever appearance on television was The Sale of The Century.
Never encountered Nicholas Parsons, but enjoyed various of his shows through the years.
|
Soon find out if he was into deviation.
