Removing bee stings. Info from a bee keeper - Scrape the sting with a credit card. Do not attempt to remove the sting with tweezers etc because this pumps more venom in. Reply to this message | Report message

I locked myself out once and tried to use a credit card to slide the yale lock open, like you see in the films. Inevitably all that happened was I snapped the card in half. I've also used them as a spatular for car filler, an ice scraper and for scraping the grass out from between paving stones on the patio. Reply to this message | Report message

When I make my own bread, I crush 2 H & B 500mg Vit C with Bioflavonoids and Wild Rose Hips using a dessert spoon and add to the dough (bread, dough!) and use an old credit card to scrape it all up, much like Bad Dave and his coke :) Reply to this message | Report message

For that all too common now, stab wound. Place a credit card over the wound. If the wound does not have the knife stuck in it and is bleeding profusely from the leg or chest, place a credit card directly over the wound and continue to apply pressure to the injury with a cloth or bandage.
