Well, you lot have me baffled again. I know little of all this stuff wot you 'ave put in this thread. Although I was at the first Beatles concert in Manchester, at the Apollo. I had an ulterior motive, though. I was a Police cadet at the time, probably late '63, and I knew there'd be lots of young crumpet there in mini-skirts.....I was right, carrying those who had fainted to the back of the theatre was a real pleasure ! My own favourites...The Four Last Songs, by Richard Strauss. A stunning performance on the Proms last weekend with a Finnish soprano. I could listen to them every day........and sometimes do.
