You won't find me on Facebook so you'll not get the necessary details but that "security" is pathetic. Avoid for the time being.

I have had quotes for car insurance from Confused for cars I don't own so their registration process is pants. Just dream up an email address and we'll start bombarding it.

Gocompare only send an email a week or two in advance of renewal time, which I think is reasonable to the point of being a useful reminder.

Dunno about their security, though.

I started getting marketing calls (I'm ex directory and on TPS) and when I asked where they got the number "a price comparison website" on further questionning "oh they don't pay any attention to the fact that you selected no calls". But they wouldn't tell me which one (and I'd used three).

Marketing people also have auto-diallers which go thru, calling blocks of numbers. If your number exists they can call it whether you are XD or not
