Just in case anybody has a hospital appointment tomorrow be aware that it is the national day for junior doctors to change over, this is when they leave one Trust and go to their next job, they all change over on the same day which leaves the Consultants and Reg’s to do all the work through the hospital.

We generally cancel many of our elective lists that can’t be done by a consultant only.

My niece, a registrar at A&E changes hospitals tomorrow ! No more living at home (with an 70 mile commute)...She's done well career wise.
