To fit an iPhone SE to the dash of a Renault master business plus. Any ideas chaps?

Does it have to go on the dash or can you attach to windscreen or door?

Never thought of windscreen. That’s a poss’ or dash, but not door.

Reason I asked about door was that Berlingo screen's lower o/s corner is too far forward for driver to reach comfortably. Instead we use a cheap suction cup cradle mounted on the door's dummy quarter light.

That would likely obscure the mirror Bromp.

I have one similar to this.

Just make sure it is big/small enough to fit your phone.

That's like mine. I have it where taxi drivers often do, i.e. to the right of the steering wheel (thus not obscuring view), and the arm extensive quite a way to bring it into easy view.

One downside in this vehicle is the USB port is fairly far forward in one of the many cubbies around the dash. The white charge lead then reflects terribly in the screen. Not thought out too well imho.

Buy a black charging lead?

And/or a decent charge pack that stows nearer phone. Far easier when I use phone as satnav to power it from my 15000 ma/h Coolreal device in door pocket than have a cable snaking round to the socket between front seats.

That looks like a reasonable quality product. We both have something similar but cheaper. Rarely use mine as it's not worthwhile pairing the headset and fannying about for my commute. On longer journeys I have a co-pilot/comms operator sat to my left.

Do you have air vents anywhere near the position that you want to place the phone?

I use this for my phone

Thanks that looks superb.

I take your point about google maps, but the SE as a sat nav is too small.

Would GM work well on an older iPad mini?

I’m led to believe rightly or wrongly that high drain apps where the device is being permantly plugged in and charging tend to cuff up battery longevity. Any Ruth in the tumour?

55p - is that a bit pricey?

I bought a couple, they work o.k.
 Phone cradle - smokie
55p is the current bid not the sale price. I expect they'll end up at a couple of quid.
