See a couple of times a week making its descent and approach to Broughton airfield - saw it again this morning - circling very low over Ruthin ( probably around a 1000 feet)....love the sight of these aircraft. The airfield is being extended to take the next generation of even bigger Belugas, love the paint schemes can't wait for a sighting..

Hope Mountain would be a hell of a vantage point to watch them from. Assume the extension is at opposite end of runway....

I need to get over to Broughton - one of the runs takes me to the surgery there - May be a trip out on the bike one morning, there is a Cafe on the Broughton airfield site (called Chocks Away) - maybe worth a visit one of these fine days.

Do you visit any of the surgeries round Hope or Gresford?
