Botox overdose.

Remember his time as presenter of Pick of the Pops (take 2?). A low point between Fluff Freeman and Tony Blackburn - the latter was in his element on the show and should still be there.

That's a shame, a really, really nice bloke. Always polite, always pleasant.

Bless.

Fairly harmless guy. Some sources suggest he may have had depression...

He did, apparently, suffer from depression. Straightforward, non-offensive presenter.

Tony Blackburn is heavily featured on Radio 2 at the weekends doing "Pick of the Pops" type programmes.

We were watching the news last night and both recalled a TV interview with him a couple of years ago where he seemed to suffering from some sort of shoulder injury - he didn't seem himself.

The last couple of times I saw him on TV (not sure how recently) I thought there was an underlying sadness to him.

I always remember his Gotcha on the Noel Edmunds show. It surrounded a fake bride/wedding and disasters befalling her whereby Dale was pressured to help. Mrs F and I both said at the time what a nice guy he was, with ever twist and turn of the setup he just kept doing things to help saying "It's her big day, we must".

I guess he'll be needing a hole in the floor?

One of the many celebs who passed me by unnoticed, though I am sure he was good at what he did if you like that sort of thing.
