 Rubik's Cube Speed Record - rtj70
I wonder how fast anyone on here could solve the Rubik's cube. The first time I did it it probably took me days and was probably a bit of luck. I then learned how to do it (read some instructions) and could solve it consistently in 40-50 seconds depending on how muddled it was.

But how about this new robot... solving it in 0.38s :-)

I tried last year to figure out how to do them. Couldn't get it at all, even with help from those that knew how.

I diddit back in the 80's, 6 of us went camping at Hastings one bank holly day.

I shut myself away in my tent until I cracked it ... in two days!

It used to be my party trick, when no-one else could solve it. These days I'm lucky to crack 60 seconds.

Never could complete it without cheating by pulling some of the pieces out and re-assembling them in the correct place.

A guy at school only needed to take one look at the Rubik's cube, then put his hands behind his back and complete it within a minute, without looking at it again until he had finished it.
