A truly horrible disease which inevitably leads to a horrilbe end. If it works they will truly deserve a Nobel prize.

I have a friend diagnosed with Huntington's Disease last year, but still waiting for her response to my message earlier today about this promising breakthrough.

She was in the news about this ability several months ago - hopefully something comes of it.

Father in law has Parkinson's. Diagnosed by a doctor spotting him in a hospital ward and not a GP. Knowing what we do now we are surprised the GP he saw regularly did not pick up on this.

Also have an aunt/uncle with it. She's had it for years but her husband only recently diagnosed (he had some obvious symptoms but did nothing about it). So the fact a husband and wife can have it shows it is more common than I thought because what are the odds?
