Optional charity donations when buying on Ebay. - henry k
When paying for items on Ebay an option to add a charity donation appears.
I had assumed the charity had been selected by the seller.
I asked the most recent seller re " his " selected charity and I got a blank look.
He knew nothing about it and if he had been involved would have named a different specific charity.
I do not recall being advised of this optional donation facility
I donate to charity but am not amused by this approach.

I have sold stuff with 50% proceeda ro go to my nominated charity (you can set this up for the charity you choose). The option I get when paying for stuff I've bought is thw one I picked. I don't object to being asked, it's optional
