Today I drove down to Selsey - just along the coast from Portsmouth and down from Chichester.
Between Selsey and Chichester, on the left hand side of the road, I saw what looked like an old church, or possibly a school. It was in a pretty poor state, but the site was being worked on and was fenced.
I have done a number of searches to try to find out what the place is called, without success.
Anybody know what the place is called? I thought it said 'Applebarn' on the fencing, but I can't find anything about it.
Just curiosity, that's all.
TIA.

I think we need a little more information, that's nearly ten miles of road!

Google maps plus Streetview should reveal all.

And yet no clue on which bit of road between the two (about 9 miles?) to look.

If you mean the building as you approach the roundabout with the A27 on the road from Selsey / Hunston, then I think you mean the building that used to be a convent. I believe it's being converted to a free school - Montessori? Something like that ...

Peter, I think that's the place. Sorry, I couldn't be more specific, but I simply didn't know.
I think this is the place:-
