Selfridges in London opened their Christmas shop yesterday. Shame they hadn't on Saturday because I'd have popped in - NOT! :-)

Some people still have decorations up from last Christmas around Oxford. Looking at the state of some of them, they might actually be from 2014, or even earlier ;)

When I last visited London in September two years ago there was a Christmas shop on the South Bank. Apparently it is open twelve months of the year and does good business.

Expats will go in, order all the Chrimbo kit, and have it freighted to wherever they are in darkest Africa etc.
