German Axe Incident on a Train... - rtj70
Now it's not safe to travel by train in case someone has an axe!

'Alluha Akbar' - Somehow I don't think he is! - There must be a "Cure" for this plague somewhere! - somehow?

Of course God is responsible for everything really.

There's no instant cure for superstition, or for malevolent murderous idiocy. They have always been with us. As has mental illness from which the axe-wielder evidently suffered.

The fuzz cured the symptom by wasting the guy, and a good thing too.

All due respect to the victims and all that, we have worse stuff round here that never even makes the local news, let alone the Beeb front pages (e.g. fatal car accidents)

A car crash, however ghastly the results, is an accident smokie.

The axe geezer did what he did on purpose, for stupid meaningless 'reasons'. Unfortunately the fuzz didn't kill him, so now he's going to cost society money for the rest of his life.

More likely an idiot driver.

Don't idiot drivers have accidents? However idiotic, they don't crash on purpose.

Cars don't have accidents, drivers crash them.

Well, yes. Are you being tiresome on purpose Sundodger?

Get out and get a tan. Easier to make sense with a tan.

Correct, a more accurate description of my service career. Don't worry, I will try to remain a pain in the exhaust pipe.

What, no sun beds or spray booth onboard?
I love to feel the sun on my face, or the rain when it's absolutely lashing down and I'm half way up Whernside with it being driven sideways.
Excellent name incidentally

It is one of the printable things that the surface navy (skimmers) call submariners.

I got the impression that it required no effort on your part.

Add Dog days to that combo:

Sirius rises late in the dark, liquid sky
On summer nights, star of stars,
Orion's Dog they call it, brightest
Of all, but an evil portent, bringing heat
And fevers to suffering humanity.
