Watched last night a DVD of a film of that name, dir. Paul Thomas Anderson, kindly and perhaps illicitly loaned to us by a friend.

As the friend said it would be, it was totally incomprehensible even to me although it was largely about drugs. The actors shouted occasionally but mostly whispered. Nevertheless there was action more or less throughout and it held our attention all the way through.

Well worth a look if you like that sort of thing. Not everyone does.
