Late at night I sometimes watch FAHXnoos. It winds me up but I don't mind. Makes a change from the Beeb and stuff.

It's unbelievably reactionary. The presenters, both sexes, turn their smiles on and off like flashlights. Perhaps there's a special training school to teach them how to do it.

Does the expression 'vibrant insincerity' ring a bell with anyone here?

As it's from AC I assumed it must be rude - some sort of Glaswegian dialect swearing, perhaps a response when offered a piddling little drink instead of a proper pint of heavy and a chaser.
