I have a doubt that humans alone can create global warming. In the past we have had warm temperatures that have roasted the planet. We have been in at least six ice ages. That last one only ended 12 thousand years ago. At the moment we are in an inter-glacial period. When the dinasours roamed the earth the average temperature was in excess of 28% centograde. But I do believe burning fossil fuels such as oil, gas and coal is contributing towards the rising average global temperatures at the moment. I say at the moment because when the earth fossil fuels are burnt empty what energy will we rely on. The market alone cannot solve the global warming problem. Governments have to set an example. I think it's time to stop debating the subject and just accept that for whatever the reasons, climates seem to be changing and more extreme weather is happening. Banning plastic bags or eating more nutburgers is not going to reverse the process. We should just start focussing on living with the consequences - flood defences, agricultural changes, relocating threatened low-lying populations, etc. We need to look at the international implications if entire nations are drowned, coping with climate change refugees/migrants, economic assistance, etc. Don't discuss - do something.
