Well keep trying.

I have scored 18 year old 298, 18 300, 28 374

and "We're not sure if you're an actual human being with the reaction time of 290" (I also scored 292)

Enough comments about pensioners ?

Had a few goes. Averaging mid 30's each time, apart from one go which said I had the reaction time of a 22 yr old.

Seems pretty darn accurate to me! - 60, 59, 58 - me is 59!
Any body care to work out what the yardage stopping distance would be between a person scoring 200ish and one scoring 600ish m/s at say 50mph??

Thanks for that tyred! - quite a difference if you happen to step-out in front of the wrong driver! - but... me now tried it again using the keyboard space bar, instead of mouse and surprisingly scored 30,34,35 !!! the keyboard is 20years faster!

I got down to a 23 year old using the keyboard.

At about 25, I tried a reaction tester belonging to Grampian Police. You had to transfer your foot from accelerator to brake at the signal. I scored about the same - wearing wellies!

0.2 is possible wearing suitable footware and I'd expect quite few racing drivers to be able to do this.

It helps to have a very slow internet connection. The picture goes in jerks, and the red hand always appears on the 5th one.

Hence my consistent scores of 19 -27.
