I've done about the same amount of time in here as you lot, but I did manage to escape about a year or so ago until Pat and the Chilean were instru-mental in my recapture.

No idea how long I've been here, but I was on HJ before, so ages I suppose.

The other old-timers tend to call me Lud. I quite like that. Reminds me of school and would make me feel young were I less sternly realistic.

(the massive one slipped down a treat. Time for another, slightly smaller this time. It's a huge broad-based litre of Russian Standard, full strength but nothing excessive).

A Staropramen in the kitchen here, followed by a great piece of rump steak from the butcher in town with a 2014 Carménère from NoFM's back garden. (2011 was a better year but I need to look harder for those over here.) It's Mad Men night - we're savouring the final series week by week - which means American whiskey comme digestif.
