Her indoors. I phone 4s. Bought a 5s unlocked (Apple). When I set up the new phone this morning and tried to restore her stuff from I cloud it wouldn't work unless an IOS update was applied, 8.?.? Whatever. 9.?.? Was duly applied and we wait to see if it takes now which I presume it will.
HOWEVER............ My concern is this. I am inheriting her 4s (from a 4). My 'stuff' is on the cloud. The. 4s to my knowledge 'may' accept 9.?.? But I think Zero suggested that it would not be man enough for iOS 8 something.
Will I have to accept an iOS upgrade (possibly clogging the phone) or just not be able to reload my stuff from cloud.
I hope you understand this. It's been a long day so far. Thank you.

you should be able to transfer from 4 to 4s without an OS upgrade.
