Britain's Heaviest Man Dies - Duncan
Keith Martin, the heaviest man in Britain has died.

He weighed 70 stone and consumed 10,000 calories a day. Why didn't they just stop feeding him?

Mental problems by the sound of it.Not nice to die that young whatever the reason. He lost weight didn't he,maybe to much for his hart to take.

I wouldn't want to help carry that coffin. They should just roll him.

While he was getting to 70 stone, he was bed ridden and being cared for by his sister. Neither of them was working, so the state was paying for both of them to consume his 10k calories a day.

"so the state was paying for both of them to consume his 10k calories a day"

They should cremate him in the local power station. All that lard could power a small town for a couple of days.

Hahahahahahaha

Next up for the laughs - teenagers with xylophone ribcages and baldy cancer kids.

Fuds.
Britain's Heaviest Man Dies - BiggerBadderDave
Careful Lygonos, he might show up on radar.

980lb., nearly half a ton. Bed sores and things. The cat couldn't possibly stand, a human frame couldn't bear that weight.

Looks very unusual, well outside what one thinks of as 'norms'. Surely such an extreme condition could have been avoided Lygonos?

What's a xylophone ribcage?

Thank you Rastaman. Dumb of me.

I bet he could not wipe his bum or hold his willy.
Nasty job for a carer.

Maybe Ivan Cameron's old carer since the inconsiderate sod died and made them unemployed a few years ago.

Not sure the Camerons fed their son to death.

Strangely heartless Lygonos. Don't Camerons suffer and bleed like other humans? Or do you think they made too much of that poor child's condition, using it to get votes?
Britain's Heaviest Man Dies - Lygonos

No more than a miserable fat guy's family does.

The family stuffing the food down the fat mans throat you mean?

Yeah, Im sure they all lined up behind his carers to cram in the curry and pudding.

Funnily enough fat guys' arms can reach their mouths.

Yeah but not the shops, or the kitchen, or the fridge or the cooker.

Since most take-aways will happily deliver food straight to you that doesn't require any of the above bits of the house...

And even fat guys' fingers can work a 'phone.

Unles you're this guy of course:

For all of the 'P' taking what happens if you deny food to some poor sod in this situation.

they usually get thinner.

And there is the moral and legal question. If you are a carer do you have a right to deny food to an adult who requests it even if they do not need the food ? I rather suspect that you would require a court order and if the person in question is deemed capable of making a decision for himself I can't see such a court order being granted.

I would suggest that a carer has primary responsibility for care, health and wellbeing.
Britain's Heaviest Man Dies - CGNorwich
"I would suggest that a carer has primary responsibility for care, health and wellbeing."

Possibly but legally I suspect that a person of sound mind who is immobile is entitled to eat what they want even if is killing them.

Would a carer for example be entitled to deny a lung cancer sufferer cigarettes if that is what the person wanted?

Freedom includes the freedom to act in a foolish way or in a manner dangerous to yourself and carers are not prison guards.

Well you get an 18 yo roll up smoking 'carer' to make that decision when they are enslaved to a Boss that is enslaved to an under funded system and I'll sit back and take notes.

Not significantly less either. Having a sick dying child must be painful even for a Tory politician don't you think? Perhaps Tory politicians don't feel pain. But their wives probably do.

Simple gravitational attraction. The mass of the body is attracted by pie.

NHS carers. Or not that caring to be honest.

One rarely knows an individuals situation or state of mind. There but for the Grace of.........

Clearly the guy had problems and so is surely to be pitied rather than mocked?

Not to mention "Thank God that wasn't my problem."

All the people in the world are not stable, I'm afraid.
Britain's Heaviest Man Dies - Zero
>> Clearly the guy had problems and so is surely to be pitied rather than mocked?

Clearly he did. However they were allowed, nay encouraged, to get worse with complicit assistance of the carer, and the state.
Britain's Heaviest Man Dies - MD
If you view the average 'Carer' around here I would not allow them near my Dogs.
Britain's Heaviest Man Dies - smokie
Have you informed your GP of your wish MD? I'm sure you'd much prefer that if ever you have a time of need, the carers get sent instead to someone who appreciates them.

>> >> Clearly the guy had problems and so is surely to be pitied rather than mocked?

Yes. He's an exceptional case with an exceptional pathology.

Not many people have the physique to survive for long in that sort of state. It's far from enviable. One would much rather be dead, even at 44.

I'd love to see photos of him at 22 and 33. Prurient and scientistic of me I know.
