Second item on p7 of today's comic bears the headline: Trekkies seen as threat to anarchy, secret police dossier shows.
WTF? The piece bears no byline so may well be the work of an inky-fingered printer's devil during some four-hour lunch by his betters. It's surprising though that such a conservative comic seems to suggest that we prize 'anarchy' and fear that it is threatened by Star Trek viewers.
The copy reveals that in 1997 - s***-hot news what? - Special Branch, our cuddly version of the secret police, had its knickers in a twist over 'conspiracy theorists' thinking that 'the end of the world was nigh'.
There is however a cheering photo further down the page of Chuka Umunna in ballet tights during his recent bid for the Labour Party leadership. Come on Cameron, let's see your underpants!

He might be a commando.
