Has anybody played with the app Google Camera - Photosphere? The results on initial trial attempts seem to be absolutely amazing - not clear to me if the processing is done in the camera or online? I will try later with wifi off. When I had done panorama photo stitching in the past it seemed very slow and processor intensive. The steady march of Moores Law shows itself everywhere!

For those who had not come across it, what I omitted from the original post was that it allows you to post 'streetview' like images directly onthe Google Map Host. People can then explore your lounge contents before deciding whether to burgle it. That gives me an idea..... if I comprehensively photograph the garage, I can vitually look for all those missing things in the warm and then send SWMBO to fetch the required item.
