Minor parties in the election - henry k
They are outside the list of those well known 7-10 main parties

There are about 22 minor parties

"Cannabis is Safer than Alcohol".
There is CISTA candidate in my constituency.

£100K available to fund candidates.
! await the results.

Generous. You could buy a lot of weed with that. You'd end up as safe as houses are (except in Nepal at times of seismic activity).

I don't normally read this sort of stuff but there's a link to other minority parties. I liked the Socialist Labour Party ideas, pay every pensioner £26k and when asked how to pay for it they would nationalise every private pension fund. Well no-one can say it's an unfunded idea.

I'm not being heartless about the Nepalese disaster, whose 2,500 dead so far won't be the half of it by the time all the remote places have been visited. Just got carried away by the safe-as-houses image in a negligent moment.

Natural disasters must be doubly disastrous for scattered, subsistence communities. It's easy to be smug and offhand in rich, geologically stable (for the most part, stay away from southern Italy if you're worried) Europe.

Asking for it in a way.

Yes indeed, Mrs Z was there in Paphos on girls week away. She said the surface of her G&T rippled slightly.

Excitable drinks are the last thing a lady on holiday needs.

Slurp... I say barman! Three more of these please. And try to keep the subsoil under control this time, awright?

No, that was definitely a ripple.

The thing about the richter scale is that each lever is 10 times stronger than the one below it.

5 is a ripple, 6 is all the gin thrown from your glass.

I can assure you, Mrs Z is expert at blowing a minor crisis into a major drama and catastrophe, and if she just shrugged it off, it barely made the ice clink in her G&T.

(unless of course she was more legless than she would care to admit to me, and then I guess she would have fallen over)

Maybe the earth was moving for her anyway, and she didn't notice the actual earthquake.

Well when I make the earth move for her, she has to put the drink down or it will get spilt.

I stayed at the Paphos Beach on honeymoon with the first ex. In those days it was next door to the Annabelle. Her G & T rippled on more than one occasion.
