I seem to remember that Scotty's ashes were taken on one of the shuttle launches and scattered in space.

I bet in the future, there will be a Starship Nimoy or Space Station Nimoy or Planet Nimoy.

Pity about Shatner. I don't want to see that name emblazoned across a starship in my life time.

Were you really a spotty youth in 2002-3 Rob? How fast they grow up nowadays. Something to do with chlorine or cattle hormones no doubt.

I could never stand Dr Who in any of the versions. Magical fantasy carp for seven-year-olds, no use at all for anyone over 10. Only the ignorance and stupidity of the TV audience can explain its success.
