Local lad flew from Newcastle to Exeter this afternoon. Said the plane was held above Exeter for 1.5 hrs??
Any news or thoughts or is he waffling? No other info' chaps.

Possibilities include, but are not limited to - runway blocked by an "Incident", aircraft holding to resolve a technical (Undercarriage?) problem, comms failure, temporary lack of legally required Crash/fire cover, something else.

Yesterday flights at Exeter were delayed because a pilot was arrested on the apron for being drunk in charge.
