So , if I understand it, the buyer ignores credit card protection and pays by direct bank transfer...

He's a muppet.

And his subsequent actions prove it..

It'd take me 5 seconds to block his phone number and prevent all his texts, supposing it wasn't a pre-paid and therefore disposable SIM in the first place..

As madf says, one is a thief, the other is a muppet.
