 Battery - 3 terminals - why? - Dulwich Estate
I've been using the manufacturer supplied rechargeable batteries in phones and cameras for ages, but I must be not very observant. Because today I noticed that they all have 3 terminals - why ?

Has the panel got an answer, please ?

The third pin is usually for an internal temperature sensor, for safer charging.
