I do apologise!

I clean forgot Car4play's birthday!!

How can you ever forgive me?

I hope you had a good one.

Thank you Duncan. Nothing out of the ordinary, just the usual bunfight.

Heh heh.

Has it really been 4 years since we jumped ship?

I would have got a lesser sentence for manslaughter ;)

And probably some sympathetic counselling?

;-)

My apologies too. It wasn't my intention to answer for the site. I misunderstood the OP which I thought was a reference to the permanent bun-fight here.

Four years... how time flies.

Only good-natured bun-fighting though. That's part of the charm of this forum.

Psssss - pillow fight tonight? Midnight feast? Coussine Minor's people have sent some chocies.

Can it wait until 3am when I will be up and can join in please?

When I was 10 our dormitory matron, the kindly Goanese (I think) Miss McQue, used to buy tins of condensed milk - heavenly stuff, I could drink a tin right now - and Kraft cheese for us with our pocket money towards the end of term, when a bit of midnight feast action was winked at.

Miss McQ was a sweet woman. She used to inspect our product in the earth closets we had until my last couple of terms with a view to dosing us with syrup of figs or castor oil... 'Ayo!' she would exclaim, 'that is like a rat's motion!', or sometimes 'That is like Patak's mixture!'.

Patak's is an older and more global firm than a lot of people realise.

Blimey, and we all thought Savile was an odd 'un...

Are you talking about me or Miss M smokie?

She was responsible for our health and well-being and took her job seriously. And I can't help remembering her with affection. We often gave her a hard time, but she was tolerant and loving. An unmarried Catholic lady. Nothing remotely odd here. Move along now.
