 air purifiers - zookeeper
hi all, im looking for a robust air purifier ...reason is SWMBO keeps birds indoors and the dust and dander are getting on my wick, any recommendations would be helpful but please rule out ioniser type as not good for birds apparently
i looked on ebay for what was on offer one lady selling one added to the advert " good condition not used much , gathering dust in kids bedroom " oh well you couldnt make it up
cheers....zoo

I'd recommend a cat.

A few drops of arsenic in the bird's water will do the job. Mount and stuff the corpse.

Otherwise, a perspex hermetically sealed cube around the cage..

I don't see an ioniser will prevent crap and feathers in the air.

I know several people who have had to give up keeping birds in the house because of the health problems caused to children and/or adults over time.

Snake oil and hocus pocus.

Do the maths.

What is the volume of room, maybe 40 cubic metres. How long will it take for a feeble fan to pump through 40 cubic metres for just one cycle to clear the air ?

I wouldn't waste my money.

Edit - I've since looked at the Bluair performance figures - well, maybe you've got a chance if you spend £500 +
