One half of the Everly Brothers, seminal pop duo of the 50s and 60s.

Sad news .....

I saw them perform live both at the Albert Hall and Fairfield Halls in Croydon in the 80's after they got together again , they sounded just as brilliant live as on record , also ISTR Duane Eddy was touring with them....

First single I bought "Walk right Back" by Everlys; first LP (remember them?! ;-) ) Everly Brothers Greatest Hits. About 1960 ish?
Can still remember hearing them for first time on Radio - couldn't believe the harminies.
RIP Phil Everly.
