Somehow I'd missed this, extraordinarily. So,thanks from me too. We shall be looking for it now.

Damn it. I meant to get up at 5 and slipped back til 5.20 and missed the thing. Lovely clear morning here too, very mild grass frost, but seemed warm when I put the Dawgs out.

Must try harder. A friend has taken a couple of pics of it. The tail I think is 5 MILLION miles long!!!

I watched it Perro. Apparently ISON 'may' hold the key to most of the important unanswered questions on the origins and structure of the solar system and actually of the universe itself.

It will serve us right if it hides and slopes off shrugging and with its hands in its pockets, muttering 'Don't ask me, FFS!'

The voiceover was a bit gooey too, a mummy reading a bedtime story... a bit lightweight really, but that's the telly for you. We still look at it faute de mieux.

Unsurprisingly, I could not give a stuff about the origin of the Universe!
It's here - we're here -get over it and live for the day!

I wish you would.....

Thank you for your good wishes!

Tomorrow never comes, apparently :-)

Unless you are James Bond.

Typical Horizon production - y'all watch it for 60 mins and feel like you've been mugged (of time)

I took the dog out before it ended, and nearly slipped a over t on the ice.

"Typical Horizon production ………………."

Horizon used to be a serious scientific programme but I'm afraid that, like most things, it has been dumbed down to the point that I can't be bothered. My science-trained mates all feel the same.
